Asus GeForce GTX 1080 Strix OC Overclocking
We didn't have a whole lot of luck overclocking this card. With the power limit and temperature limit set to 120 percent and 92°C respectively, we were only able to add on 10MHz before benchmarks started crashing. In fairness, however, the card was boosting to a peak of 2,025MHz at these settings (mostly from the raised power limit rather than the 10MHz increase, we suspect), which is still a pretty good result.
Thankfully, the memory proved to be very responsive, and we were able to run all of our benchmarks without a hitch with the memory cranked up to 1.4125GHz (11.3Gbps effective), which is a 13 percent boost.
